Clients receive ongoing encouragement from staff to achieve greater independence in all aspects of their daily lives, from personal hygiene to budgeting.

Working For A Living

Everyone enjoys the satisfaction of a job well done, including those we serve at EnAble. Local businesses offer various employment opportunities to our clients. Each individual receives job training and support from a EnAble employment specialist. We negotiate with companies to find the right placement opportunities that benefit those we serve as well as the companies hiring them. Many employers have experienced the positive influence on the working environment that hiring a disabled person often brings.

Some of those we serve at EnAble choose to work in the Day Services Program at one of or two work centers. Here they can choose to participate in agency-subcontracted work from local businesses or community and educational opportunities. Whatever the option chosen, a job enables those served to feel the satisfaction that comes from achieving and being a contributing part of the working world.
